I saw this book listed on several reading list clubs and figured I would give it a shot.

It started off with a bang.  I couldn’t put it down.  Ten chapters later, I barely cared enough to pick it up.  In fact, it’s the first book on my reading list that I didn’t finish.  Because of this, I can only rate it as far as a read it.

I stopped reading this book at page 183.  Not sure why I picked that page.  Guess I had just had enough.

The multitude of characters introduced in this book were never fully detailed or explained so no feelings were attached to them.  Just when you thought you had “met” them all, 3 or 5 more were introduced. It was too much, too many characters and not enough substance.

I had high hopes for this book.  I was let down.
